Long Time Las Vegas Photographer Jim McGlasson

Surrounded by the eye-popping energy that is Las Vegas, the natural beauty of the desert southwest, eye catching scenes that capture my attention and tell a story, quirky juxtapositions, and interesting people, I use my camera to document the world as I see it and then print these images with a focus on the magic I find in everyday life.  My photographs tell the stories of my life and those stories that their images conjure up.

Las Vegas is a city of lights and adventure where anything can happen. It is a jewel sitting in the southern Nevada corner of the Mojave Desert, surrounded by arid landscape, numerous ghost towns, and other historical locations. Whether you're looking for iconic photographs of Las Vegas; old or new, abstract interpretations of Vegas's most popular attractions, for scenes which take you outside of Las Vegas proper, or just for that something special that catches your eye, you are in the right place! I specialize in creating prints that capture the vibrancy and energy of Las Vegas, as well as the history and beauty of the southwest, perfect for display in your home or place of business.
